Founding Engineer

About the Role

Alknoma is building Ayven, the Super Coordinator for teams - an agentic collaborative layer that works alongside your team in Slack and Microsoft Teams. It chases the inputs, untangles who owns what, and keeps projects moving, so people stay focused on the work that matters.

This is a founding engineering role with the ownership and trajectory to match. You'll help shape the architecture of a frontier agentic product from its earliest days, set the technical bar the rest of the team builds against, and grow into a core technical leader as we scale. You'll start where it matters most: the automated testing infrastructure that lets us move at light speed without compromising production. You'll stress-test integrations with Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Notion while using Claude Code to write test scripts - and as the platform stabilizes, your remit expands fast into core product development and scaling agentic systems.

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency with deep familiarity in Pydantic for data validation
• LLM orchestration experience or capability to master Claude Code and similar frameworks
• Docker containerization knowledge
• Google Cloud Platform exposure
• Automated testing experience (Pytest, Playwright)
• API integration abilities including OAuth and webhooks

Location

This role is London-based and hybrid - you'll work from our London office around three days a week. You must already be based in London, or able to be. We are hiring locally only and cannot consider fully remote or overseas applicants for this position. You must already have the right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
