Founding Engineer

About the Role

Alknoma develops Ayven, an AI agent that solves complex problems within Slack and Microsoft Teams. We seek an early-stage engineer to establish quality standards for our production platform.

Your initial focus involves building the automated testing infrastructure that allows us to move at light speed without compromising production. You'll stress-test integrations with Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Notion while using Claude Code to write test scripts. As the platform stabilizes, your role expands into broader product development and scaling agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Build automated testing infrastructure for production reliability
• Stress-test integrations with Slack, Jira, GitHub, and Notion
• Use Claude Code and similar AI tools to write test scripts
• Expand into broader product development as the platform stabilizes
• Help scale agentic AI systems

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency with deep familiarity in Pydantic for data validation
• LLM orchestration experience or capability to master Claude Code and similar frameworks
• Docker containerization knowledge
• Google Cloud Platform exposure
• Automated testing experience (Pytest, Playwright)
• API integration abilities including OAuth and webhooks

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes/GKE understanding or willingness to learn
• High learning velocity - we prioritize this over years of experience
• Automation-first thinking and technical adaptability
• Comfort navigating ambiguous startup environments
